Efficient Precast Accessories for lifting and embedding concrete precast elements:

They are accessories designed to provide gripping points for concrete block hoisting, they not only play the role of linking the hoisting machine, but also need to evenly transmit the force to the concrete block to prevent tearing, of course, this is also related to the concrete block design. They are mainly of the following types:

Lifting Anchors:

It is made from steel bars through a forging process. It is also often called dog bone lifting anchor, lifting pin anchors, lifting pins, spherical head lifting anchors. It has two ends, one end is spherical, this part is outside the concrete block, used to connect the lifting clutch; the other end is conical or has a hole, used to transfer stress evenly to the inside of the concrete block. It is a common type of efficient precast accessories. Its main certification standard is CE, and the WLL range is 1.3 to 32 tons. It can be widely used in various concrete block parts (such as culverts, concrete pipes, sewage ditches) and large concrete quick-install buildings. Its tensile test requires the use of 2 times the safety factor for daily use and 3 times for limit testing.

It has many styles:

dog bone anchors, eye anchor, double head anchor. You can click on them to enter the detail page for more details.

How Them Work

1. We need to calculate where the lifting anchor should be installed based on important information such as concrete shape and weight.

2. We want to fix the lifting anchors to a specific position on the base plate in advance. Placement requires the use of a Recess former, where a groove is left to allow the head of the lifting clutch to enter.

3. Pour the concrete and wait for the concrete elements to solidify.

4. Remove the Recess former to complete the installation of the lifting anchors.

5. When hoisting, place the opening of the head of the lifting clutch on the lifting anchors and push the tongue of the clutch to clamp them firmly.

Utility lifting Anchors:

It is made of high-performance alloy steel bars by forging and bending.Used to be embedded in concrete elements to provide lifting points for their lifting. Its installation requires the use of a special recess former.During lifting, it is necessary to put the lifting hooks into the grooves formed by the recess former and hook the reserved utility lifting anchors to lift the concrete block.

Lifting Sockets:

It is made of steel pipes or steel rods using the tapping process, and is available in M and RD thread standards. It is also called Lifting Inserts, thread lifting inserts, etc.A wide variety of concrete elements are also designed for the hoisting of concrete elements (stairs, culverts, ready-to-install building modules, trenches). It is one of the common types of efficient precast accessories. It needs to be used with lifting loops or lifting rings, and the WLL range is 0.5~30 tons. Its tensile test requires 2 times the safety factor for daily use, and 3 times for extreme testing.

Its common styles:

End with holes:flat end lifting sockets, tubular lifting sockets, solid rod lifting sockets,

End without holes:wavy lifting sockets, combi lifting sockets, flat plate lifting sockets, bolt anchor lifting sockets.

How Them Work

1. We need to calculate where Lifting Sockets should be installed based on important information such as concrete shape and weight.

2. We want to fix them in advance on a specific position on the base plate. The sockets with holes in the tail need to be fixed with rebar and transfer stress, so we need to wear them on the rebar in advance.

3. The threaded end needs to be plugged with a lid in advance or magnets for lifting sockets to prevent concrete from being poured in, and tubular lifting sockets will be put into a plug at the hole end before leaving the factory to prevent concrete from backfilling.

4. Pour the concrete and wait for the concrete elements to set.

5. Remove the magnets or the cover to complete the installation of the Lifting Sockets.

6. When hoisting, screw the threaded end of the Lifting loops or lifting hoist rings into the Lifting Sockets.

Spread Anchors:

It is made of high-performance alloy steel plate by laser cutting or punching and then bending. It is designed to be embedded in concrete blocks to provide a lifting point for hoisting. It is one of the common types of efficient precast accessories. It comes in many shapes and is very versatile. A dedicated recess former is required for installation, and a dedicated ring clutch is required for hoisting. WLL range in 2.5~26 tons. Its tensile test requires 2 times the safety factor for daily use, and 3 times for extreme testing.

Its common styles:

Single hole:flat foot spread anchors, welded plate spread anchors

Twin Holes:two hole spread anchors, two hole anchors

Three-hole:erection anchors, unilateral erection anchors

How Them Work

1. We need to calculate where it should be installed based on important information such as concrete shape and weight, and determine how to install Spread Anchors based on information such as concrete thickness.

2. Use the recess former to fix the spread anchors at the specified position of the frame base.

3. If there are two or three holes, you need to pass through the rebar, and if you have a single hole, you need to use the rebar to press the foot or plate. There are also grooves on the sides of the Erection anchors that allow the rebar to pass through.

4. Pour the concrete and wait for the concrete elements to set.

5. Remove the recess former to complete the installation of Spread Anchors.

6. When hoisting, snap the ring of the ring clutch into the groove of the recess former, the opening on the ring into the Spread Anchor, and push the safety pin.

Cast In Lifting Loops

It is obtained by using a high-performance wire rope to fold the two ends into a steel pipe by extrusion, and it is an accessory designed to be embedded in concrete elements for direct lifting. It needs to be hoisted with lifting hooks. The largest SWL we can produce at the moment is 25 tons. It also needs to pass a strict tensile sampling inspection before leaving the factory. The wire rope will have a plastic or metal ring to indicate its SWL and certification standards. Its tensile test requires 2 times the safety factor for daily use, and 3 times for extreme testing.

How Them Work

1. We need to calculate where it should be installed based on important information such as concrete shape and weight, and determine how to install Cast In Lifting Loops based on information such as concrete thickness.

2. Use rebar to go through the loops.

3. Pour the concrete and wait for the concrete elements to solidify.

4. When hoisting, hook the lifting hooks to the Loops.

Efficient Precast Accessories that are used to connect or fix other precast concrete elements and are to be embedded in them:

They are accessories designed to provide a nut fastening point for angles or to provide a point for wire fastening. They have to provide these functions while transferring these stresses evenly to every corner of the concrete block to increase the stability of the entire structure.Where they are to be embedded and how they are to be fixed require rigorous calculations. Its classification mainly includes: fixing sockets, cast in channel, which provide threaded fastening points for angle steel and other load-bearing bodies; wire rope box, which provides steel wire connection for concrete blocks.Below we will introduce them in detail:

Fixing Sockets

They are functional extensions of lifting sockets, replacing traditional nuts to provide fastening points for bolts. Its position is fixed. Once buried, it cannot be adjusted. The thread standard is only M. The maximum SWL we can produce is 3.0 tons.

The types of Fixing Sockets are:

flat end fixing sockets, flat end fixing sockets with cross pin, solid rod fixing socket with cross pin, bent end fixing socket, wavy end fixing sockets。

How them Works

1. We need to calculate where and how many Fixing Sockets should be installed based on important information such as the shape and weight of concrete, the weight and shape of the link.

2. The threaded ends need to be plugged in advance or magnets for sockets are used to prevent concrete from pouring in.

3. Pour the concrete and wait for the concrete elements to set.

4. Remove the magnets or cover to complete the installation.

Cast in Channel:

It is designed to provide a special bolt T bolt placement point for precast concrete elements for fixing other objects as accessories. We use cold-rolled or hot-rolled channel steel, punch holes on it and rivet the pins on it. Or we can weld the pins on it without punching holes. T Bolts can be easily put into the slot, or they can be firmly stuck on the slot wall after tightening. With it, the distance between the two bolts can be adjusted, which is more flexible.

How it works

1. We need to calculate the location, length, and direction of the Cast in Channel installation based on important information such as the shape and weight of the concrete, the weight and shape of the link, etc.

2. The Cast in Channel has fillers inside or uses tape to seal all gaps to place concrete in.

3. Pour concrete and wait for the concrete block to solidify.

4. Remove the fillers or tape to complete the installation.

Wire Rope Box:

It is an attachment designed to transfer loads between concrete elements. It consists of two parts: the box body is made of galvanized steel plate through cutting, bending and other processes, and the wire rope part passes through two holes on the box body and is then tightened with a steel pipe and extruded. The groove on the back needs to be sealed with high-viscosity tape to prevent backflow into it when pouring concrete.
